Sheep Batts
Traditional sheep’s batts are carded wool waste combined with synthetic fibers and then passed through a heat chamber to form a blanket that is used for roll out installation.
Our Competitive Advantage
Wool Lambsulation is made of 100% Lamb’s wool with no synthetic fibers added. Lamb’s wool fibers are more hollow than sheep’s wool which therefore increases the air space and as a consequence, increases the R-value. The fibers of our product are not aligned, but instead are entangled into balls, called knops, that are blown in to the space needed. The resilience of the wool and the way the knops are created, allows our natural insulation to retain its structure, and thus settling does not occur.
